Covid-19 Premier Ford Customer Update

Showroom To Reopen Monday June 1st

Over the past 2 weeks, we have rearranged our showroom to observe the necessary social distancing measures, protective screens have been placed on our customer facing areas and we have sanitising stations located at the entrance and exit in our one-way showroom

For the time being, we will continue assigning customers timed and pre-arranged appointments for our aftersales services. We kindly ask you to only travel to our dealership if and when you have an appointment with us. A member of the team will brief you with what to expect when you arrive on site.

We are taking service bookings and you can book your vehicles service quickly and easily online: Book A Service

Or you can call us, our service department is currently answering phone calls Monday to Friday 01983 245040

We are proud of all the work our staff has put in to ensure our customers feel as safe as possible when the showroom reopens. That being said, it is understandable that many of our new and existing customers may not feel confident coming onto our site and may continue to take advantage of our online, contactless, “Click & Carlect” services. Don’t forget we offer collection and delivery for our serviced department too.

Premier Ford would like to take the opportunity to reinforce our commitment to customer care and satisfaction, and advise that we can be flexible with our services where appropriate to accommodate your needs. If you have a sales, service, bodyshop, rental or parts query please do not hesitate to get in contact with us and ask us about our contactless options if you do not wish to visit our showroom.

We look forward to safely welcoming you into our showroom once again.

MOT Update:

If your vehicle’s MOT was due after March 30th 2020, your MOT certificate was automatically extended by 6 months. For example, if you MOT is due on April 30th it is now due on October 30th. You do not need to do anything to extend your vehicle’s MOT expiry date if it’s on or after 30 March 2020. However, you must keep your vehicle safe to drive.

Arriving On Site:

When making a service booking with Premier Ford, you will be assigned with a timed pre-arranged appointment. This is to ensure we keep the amount of customers on site at any one time down to a minimum.

Our showroom and reception door is locked, however a member of staff will be near by to greet you into the showroom whilst observing social distancing. Please do not be offended if we kindly ask you to step back or a member of staff takes a couple of paces back away from you!

Hand sanitizer is available within the entrance to the service desk and we place your keys into a plastic bag. There is a one way system out of the dealership, we kindly ask you not to exit the way you entered.

Our customer service staff will advise you on how to drop your car off when you make a service booking. But if you are unsure please call 01983 245040

We kindly ask you to only travel to our dealership if and when you have an appointment with us.

New, Used and Motability Sales:

Although our showroom will soon reopen, you can still browse our website and view the full range of new and used cars and vans. All our used vehicles are presented online with a video tour so you can take a good look around it from the comfort of your home. You are also welcome to use our online finance calculators and valuation software to get an idea of how much your existing car is and what your monthly payments could be. You can make an enquiry on any vehicle on our site and a member of our sales team will respond to you when they can.

If your Motability lease is coming to an end, it will automatically be extended by 6 months. You will be insured during this time. If you have any questions or concerns about this please contact us.

A number of sales staff are replying to incoming enquiries so do not hesitate to contact us via email if you have any concerns. All emails and enquires will be responded to as soon as possible.

We thank you for your support and understanding during this difficult time.
